Letters of Protection

AdobeStock_166955384Although the ability for property insurance consumers to assign their benefits to a contractor has been eliminated by the Florida Legislature, it’s still important to read your contract carefully.

Additionally, it’s important to remember that it is illegal for roofing contractors to solicit customers. Also, review contracts carefully and be aware that some contracts include a “letter of protection” clause.
